Because a redesign comes with a strong new identity.
A key player in the events industry for over 19 years under the name KMC-Animation, the company wanted to modernize its image to reflect its evolution and current positioning. Their website, built in 2010, relied on outdated technologies and no longer matched the brand's identity or ambitions. We supported them through a complete overhaul: new name, new visual identity and new website, designed to faithfully convey their expertise and dynamism after nearly two decades of experience.
A new name, a new logo, a new start.
The transition from KMC-Animation to KMC-Events marked a strategic turning point. The old logo, dated and hard to read, no longer reflected the team's professionalism. We designed a modern and refined visual identity, with a logo that asserts their positioning in high-end events, while preserving the brand's heritage through the KMC initials.
With our external partner @Wizzarco, we worked on several mockups to find the new image that best suited our client.
Then we created it in vector format, so it could be used in any possible scenario.
A new palette, with more vibrant colours.

Designing the site component by component.
Before writing a single line of code, we designed the entire site as detailed mockups. Each component was crafted individually: header, hero, service sections, gallery, contact form. This approach allowed us to establish a coherent page architecture, validate every interaction with the client and ensure a seamless user experience before development even began.
The technologies and choices behind the project.
To build the KMC-Events website, we chose modern, performant and maintainable technologies. Astro as the main framework for a fast and optimised site, React for interactive components, TypeScript for code reliability, Tailwind CSS v4 for a consistent design system, and Lucide for clean and elegant iconography.
Interactivity with Matter.js
To make the user experience memorable, we integrated Matter.js, a 2D physics engine, directly into the website. The hero medal is made of independent SVG pieces subject to gravity, collisions and drag. On scroll, the pieces automatically assemble. Users can also grab and throw them — a playful interaction that surprises and engages.
Try dragging the pieces!
WebP Images
All images compressed to WebP format, reducing weight by 80% on average.
Minified Code
HTML, CSS and JavaScript minified and optimised by Astro for ultra-fast loading.
Local Resources
Very few external links: fonts, icons and assets hosted locally.
Optimised Fonts
Subset fonts loaded locally, without calls to external CDNs.
Low-carbon eco-design
Every technical decision was made with one goal: reduce the site's carbon footprint as much as possible, without compromising user experience.
Google Analytics 4
To allow KMC-Events to track their website traffic and understand visitor behaviour, we integrated Google Analytics 4. Visit dashboard, traffic sources, most viewed pages and bounce rate: all essential metrics are accessible to drive the agency's digital strategy.
A mobile experience crafted to the pixel.
The site was built mobile-first: every component, every interaction was designed to adapt perfectly to mobile screens. Simplified navigation, touch-friendly carousels, adjusted typography and optimised images ensure a smooth experience on smartphones and tablets alike.
A site that performs from day one.
